Author editorial: Otherwise Perfect

Alternate fiction: Otherwise Perfect

My amazing friends at Target Audience Magazine asked me to write a short editorial piece on my novel Otherwise Perfect. It was a good chance for me to explain why I wrote a story centered on a character who is suffering from depression. This novel started out as a short story back in 2006, and writing it helped me through the worst depression I’ve ever experienced. It was therapeutic to write, and honestly I never thought I’d publish it. It was a story I wrote for myself, to turn the pain I was feeling into something real, but in time it became much more than that. Click the image to check out the editorial piece, and be sure to check back with Target Audience Magazine for the most up to date concert, movie, and book reviews!
